Qualification:

Construction Assistant ‘A’ (Fitter): 10th pass with ITI / NAC or equivalent in the required trade + 2 years of relevant experience.

Construction Handler (Electrician): 10th pass with a recognized ITI certificate in the Electrician trade.

Fire Engine Driver (OG): 10th pass, valid heavy motor vehicle driving license, knowledge of motor mechanism, and minimum 3 years of heavy vehicle driving experience.

Civilian Motor Transport Driver (OG): 10th pass, valid light/heavy motor vehicle license, motor mechanism knowledge, and at least 3 years of driving experience.
Ship Building Centre SBC Recruitment 2026 Age Limit
The age limit for all posts is strictly 18 to 27 years as of the closing date for receipt of online applications (14 September 2026). There is an upper age relaxation of 5 years for ST candidates, 10 years for PwBD candidates, and up to 40 years for departmental candidates strictly as per Government of India norms.
