Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications

1. Educational Qualifications:

  • Principal: Master’s Degree with at least 45% marks, B.Ed. or equivalent degree, and minimum experience as Vice-Principal, PGT, or Headmaster in recognized institutions.
  • Vice-Principal: Master’s Degree, B.Ed., and relevant teaching/administrative experience.
  • PGT: Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. from a recognized university.
  • TGT: Bachelor’s Degree in the concerned subject with 50% marks, B.Ed., and qualified CTET (Paper-II).
  • PRT: Senior Secondary (Class 12th) with 50% marks, Diploma/Degree in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed / B.El.Ed), and qualified CTET (Paper-I).

2. Age Limit:

  • Principal: 35 to 50 Years
  • Vice-Principal: 35 to 45 Years
  • PGT / TGT / PRT: Upper age limits range between 30 to 40 years as per post requirements, with upper age relaxations applicable for SC, ST, OBC, and women candidates as per Government of India guidelines.

  • Principal / Vice-Principal: ₹1,000/-
  • PGT / TGT / PRT / Librarian: ₹750/-
  • SC / ST / PwD / Female / Ex-Servicemen: Exempted / Nil

Selection Process

The selection procedure comprises the following stages:
  1. Computer Based Test (CBT): Objective-type multiple-choice questions covering subject proficiency, teaching aptitude, general awareness, reasoning, and English.
  2. Skill / Trade / Descriptive Test: Post-specific practical testing (where applicable).
  3. Interview: Face-to-face interaction for administrative positions (Principal/Vice-Principal).
  4. Document Verification (DV) & Medical Examination.
