Vacancy & Eligibility Criteria

• Pay Level: Pay Matrix Level-6 (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400/-) plus admissible allowances under Central Government rules.
• General Eligibility: Officers under the Central Government or State Governments holding analogous posts or possessing requisite professional diplomas/degrees along with mandatory years of service experience in recognized hospitals or diagnostic/physiotherapy centers.

Post-Wise Qualification Overview:

1. Sub-Inspector (Medic): 10+2 pass or equivalent with recognized diploma/degree in nursing or medical pharmacy discipline plus relevant institutional experience as specified in the official notification.
2. Sub-Inspector (Lab Technician): 10+2 with Science stream + Diploma/Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) + minimum 6 years of experience as a Laboratory Technician from a recognized laboratory diagnostic center or 100-bedded hospital.
3. Sub-Inspector (Physiotherapist): 10+2 + Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy + minimum 6 years of experience as a Physiotherapist from a recognized physiotherapy center or 100-bedded hospital.

Selection Process

1. Verification of Service Records: Scrutiny of CR Dossiers / APARs for the last 5 years.
2. Integrity & Vigilance Clearance: Confirmation by the employer regarding vigilance status and clean service record.
3. Medical Fitness Examination: Thorough physical and medical assessment by the BSF Medical Board.
