Educational Qualification & Eligibility Criteria

  • Engineering Officer Gr. I: B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Civil Engineering with First Class + Valid GATE Score.
  • Engineering Assistant: First Class 3-Year Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
  • Scientific Assistant: First Class B.Sc degree in Chemistry.
  • Technician Gr. I: 10th Class (Matriculation) pass + ITI Certificate in Electrical / Electrician / Mechanical / Fitter trade.
  • Technical Attendant Gr. I: 10th Class pass + National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) or ITI in relevant trade.
  • Assistant Gr. II: Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks + English typing speed of 30 wpm or Hindi typing speed of 25 wpm.
  • Multi-Tasking Staff Gr. I (Watch & Ward): 10th Class (Matriculation) pass from a recognized Board. Ex-Servicemen are given preference for Watch & Ward duties.

Selection Process

  1. Computer Based Test (CBT): Objective test covering general awareness, reasoning, numerical ability, English, and post-specific technical subjects.
  2. Skill Test / Trade Test: Typing test for Assistant Gr. II and trade test for Technician/Attendant posts (Qualifying in nature).
  3. Document Verification & Medical Fitness Test.
