Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

  • Head Constable (GD): Must have passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary/Intermediate) or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
  • Constable (GD): Must have passed Matriculation (10th standard) or equivalent from a recognized Board.

2. Sports Qualification (Eligible Window: 30 Sept 2024 to 30 Sept 2026)

Candidates must have participated in/won medals in recognized sporting events during the last two years:
  • For Head Constable (GD): Represented the country in recognized International Championships or won medals in National Games / Senior National Championships conducted by recognized federations/IOA.
  • For Constable (GD): Represented a State/UT in National Games/Championships, Khelo India Games, or represented University in Inter-University Tournaments.

3. Age Limit (as on 01.08.2026)

  • Age Bracket: 18 to 23 Years (Candidate must be born between 02.08.2003 and 01.08.2008, both dates inclusive).
  • Age Relaxation for Meritorious Sportspersons:
    • General / EWS: Up to 5 Years (Maximum 28 Years)
    • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): Up to 8 Years (Maximum 31 Years)
    • SC / ST: Up to 10 Years (Maximum 33 Years)

Selection Process

The recruitment stages for CRPF Sports Quota candidates are:

  2. Physical Standard Test (PST)

  4. Marking of Sports Achievements: Preparation of merit list based on scores awarded for sports credentials
