Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10th standard (SSC) or equivalent with Science subjects and a minimum of 55% marks, plus an ITI certificate or National/State Trade Certificate in the relevant trade. (Alternatively, candidates with 10th (Science) + 2 years of full-time apprentice trainee experience OR 3 years of relevant work experience in a Govt/PSU department are also eligible).
CSIR Technician Recruitment 2026 Age Limit
The maximum age limit is 28 years as of the closing date for online applications (17 September 2026). There is an upper age relaxation up to 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST, and further relaxation for PwBD/Ex-Servicemen and other eligible categories strictly as per Government of India/CSIR rules.
