Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications

1. Educational Qualifications:

• General Requirement: Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks, along with a B.Ed. degree and qualified HP TET / TET as applicable for the specific teaching post.
• Note: SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates of Himachal Pradesh receive a 5% relaxation in minimum educational qualification marks.

2. Age Limit (As on 01 January 2026):

• Age Range: 18 to 45 Years
• Age Relaxations: Upper age limits are relaxable for reserved category candidates as per Himachal Pradesh Government norms.

Application Fee

• All Categories (Exam Fee ₹100 + Processing Fee ₹700): ₹800/-
• Application Correction Fee: ₹100/-
• Payment Mode: Online via Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking.

Selection Process

1. Computer Based Test (CBT) / Written Screening Test: Consisting of 120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) carrying 120 marks (Duration: 1.5 Hours).
   • Minimum Qualifying Marks: 45% for General category and 40% for SC/ST/OBC/WFF candidates.
2. Document Verification (DV): Verification of original certificates and testimonials for candidates shortlisted through the screening test.
3. Final Merit List: Prepared on a merit-cum-option basis.

2. Step 2: Complete the One Time Registration (OTR) on the portal by setting up your profile credentials (username and password).

4. Step 4: Fill out the application form with personal, educational, and experience details accurately.
5. Step 5: Upload scanned copies of your recent passport-size photograph and signature.
6. Step 6: Pay the requisite application fee of ₹800/- online through credit/debit card or net banking.
7. Step 7: Submit the final application form before 05 December 2026 (11:59 PM) and print a hard copy for future documentation purposes.
