Selection Process

The final evaluation structure is designed systematically to ensure transparency:

  1. Computer Based Test (CBT): A written screening exam featuring 100 Multiple-Choice Questions (60% weightage on Technical/Domain knowledge and 40% on General Awareness/Aptitude).

Compensation & Pay Scale

  • For Trainee Posts: Selected candidates for SUPT levels undergo 12 months as a Stipendiary Utkal Pragatibadi Trainee (SUPT) at a fixed stipend of ₹12,000/- per month plus medical benefits, followed by 18 months as a Junior Operative Trainee (JOT).

  • Regular Scale (T0 Grade): Upon permanent absorption, the scale is ₹29,500 – 3% – ₹70,000/- per month.

  • Junior Foreman Scale (S0 Grade): Starts directly at ₹36,500 – 3% – ₹1,15,000/- per month.
