Post-Wise Grade & Pay Scale Breakdown

• Grade A Posts: Pay Scale of ₹50,000 – ₹1,60,000/- (Approx. Gross CTC ~₹12.0 to ₹14.0 Lakh/annum)

Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications (as on 14.11.2026)

1. Educational Qualification:

• Engineering Disciplines (Grade B / C): Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology (B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Petroleum / Electrical / Civil / Chemical / Instrumentation) with minimum 65% aggregate marks from an AICTE/UGC recognized university.
• Geology & Geophysics: Full-time Post Graduate Degree (M.Sc / M.Tech in Geology / Applied Geology / Geophysics) with minimum 60% aggregate marks.
• Human Resources (HR): Full-time MBA with specialization in HR / Personnel Management / MSW (2-year regular course) with minimum 60% marks.
• Finance: Associate / Fellow Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI).
• Legal: Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B) with minimum 60% marks.
• Medical: MBBS Degree with recognized registration from the National Medical Commission (NMC).
• (Post-qualification executive experience is mandatory for designated Grade B and Grade C posts as outlined in the detailed notification).

2. Age Limit:

• Grade A & B: Generally 27 to 32 Years (depending on post and experience requirement).
• Grade C: Generally 35 to 40 Years.
• Upper Age Relaxations:
  • SC / ST Candidates: 5 Years
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Candidates: 3 Years
  • Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): 10 Years
  • Ex-Servicemen: As per Government of India directives.

Selection Process

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT): Assessment covering Domain/Professional Knowledge (relevant to discipline), English Language, General Knowledge, and Reasoning & Numerical Ability.
2. Personal Interview (PI) / Group Discussion (GD): Shortlisted candidates from the CBT stage will be called for interview rounds to evaluate technical and administrative competence.
3. Weightage: Merit is determined based on the combined performance in the CBT and Personal Interview.
4. Pre-Employment Medical Examination (PEME): Conducted at OIL hospital to ensure candidate satisfies medical fitness standards.
5. Document Verification.
