1. Educational Qualification & Mandatory Requirements:

• Degree: Full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc Engg.) from a recognized University or Institute with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (or equivalent CGPA).
• Mandatory GATE Requirement: Candidate must have appeared in GATE-2025 in the Electrical Engineering (EE) paper and secured a minimum score of 70%. (Scores from previous or other years are not valid).

2. Age Limit (as on 01.10.2026):

• Maximum Age: 27 Years
• Age Relaxations: Upper age limit relaxations apply for reserved category candidates (OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen) as per Central Government of India norms.

3. Training & Service Bond:

• Selected candidates will undergo a structured 1-year training programme covering power sector policy, regulatory frameworks, power markets, and renewable energy, followed by 1 year of probation.
• Selected candidates are required to execute a Service Agreement Bond of ₹2,00,000/- to serve PFI for a minimum period of 3 years after the completion of training.

Selection Process

1. Shortlisting on GATE-2025 Score: Candidates meeting eligibility will be shortlisted based on their valid GATE-2025 Electrical Engineering score.
2. Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will appear for a comprehensive personal interview assessing technical fundamentals, subject knowledge, and sector acumen.
3. Final Merit Weightage:
   • GATE-2025 Score: 75% Weightage
   • Personal Interview: 25% Weightage
4. Document Verification & Medical Clearance.
