SBI Trade Finance Officer Educational Qualification
Candidates applying for both grades must fulfil the following educational requirements:
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University/Institution.
- Certification in Forex Operations from IIBF is mandatory.
- The IIBF certification should be obtained on or before 31 July 2026.
Preferred Certifications
Candidates possessing relevant additional certifications may have an advantage, such as:
- Certificate for Documentary Credit Specialists (CDCS)
- Certificate for Specialists in Demand Guarantees (CSDG)
- Certified Trade Finance Professional (CTFP)
- Global Trade Certificate (GTC)
- Certificate in International Trade Finance (CITF)
- Certificate in International Trade Finance from IIBF
SBI Trade Finance Officer Experience Required
Relevant Trade Finance processing/operations experience in a scheduled commercial bank is mandatory.

SBI Trade Finance Officer Salary 2026
The selected candidates will receive salary according to the applicable SBI officer scales.
JMGS-I
₹48,480 – ₹85,920
MMGS-II
₹64,820 – ₹93,960
In addition to basic pay, selected officers will be eligible for applicable allowances and benefits as per SBI rules.
