Trade-Wise Vacancy & Eligibility Details

• Bridge & Road (Both Male & Female): 18 to 23 Years. Matriculation (10th) or equivalent + Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Religious Teacher (RT): 18 to 30 Years. Graduation with Madhyama in Sanskrit or Bhushan in Hindi.
• Clerk / English Typist (Both Male & Female): 18 to 25 Years. 12th pass (10+2) + English typing speed of 35 wpm or Hindi typing speed of 30 wpm on computer.
• Operator Radio & Line: 18 to 25 Years. 10th pass with ITI in Radio/Television/Electronics OR 12th pass with Non-Medical (Physics, Chemistry, Maths).
• Radio Mechanic: 18 to 23 Years. 10th pass with 3-year Diploma in Radio & TV Technology / Electronics / Telecommunications OR 12th pass (PCM) with 50% aggregate marks.
• Armourer / Barber / Cook / Safai: 18 to 23 Years. 10th pass from a recognized board + proficiency/trade knowledge in the respective trade.
• Nursing Assistant / Laboratory Assistant: 18 to 23 Years. 10th pass with English, Mathematics, Science, and Biology.

Physical Standards & Efficiency Test (PET/PST)

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

• Male Candidates: 5 km run to be completed within 24 minutes.
• Female Candidates: 1.6 km run to be completed within 8 minutes 30 seconds.
• (Relaxed standards apply for candidates belonging to the Ladakh region).

Physical Standard Test (PST)

• Height (General Male): 170 cm (Chest: 80 cm unexpanded, 85 cm expanded).
• Height (General Female): 157 cm.
• (Height relaxations apply to candidates from North-Eastern states, ST categories, and Hill areas).

Selection Process

1. Physical Standard Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Qualifying in nature.
2. Trade (Skill) Test: Practical skill test for relevant trades.
3. Written Examination: 100-mark written test (General Knowledge, Mathematics, Reasoning, and English/Hindi). Minimum qualifying mark is 35% for General/EWS and 33% for SC/ST/OBC.
4. Detailed Medical Examination (DME) & Review Medical Examination (RME).
5. Final Merit List: Prepared based strictly on marks obtained in the written exam.
