1. Mandatory Eligibility:

  • UPSSSC PET Scorecard: Candidate must possess a valid UPSSSC Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) scorecard with positive normalized marks (non-zero/positive score).

2. Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Graduate in any stream (B.A., B.Sc., B.Com, B.Tech, etc.) from a recognized University established by law in India.
  • Specific posts (such as Marketing/Supply Inspector or Accounts-related posts) may require preference for Commerce/Economics degrees or Hindi Devanagari working proficiency as per detailed departmental service rules.

3. Age Limit (as on 01.07.2026):

  • Minimum Age: 21 Years
  • Maximum Age: 40 Years
  • Age Relaxations:
    • SC / ST / OBC Candidates of UP: 5 Years (Up to 45 Years)
    • Skilled Sports Persons: 5 Years
    • Ex-Servicemen: 3 Years + service period
    • PwD Candidates of UP: Up to 15 Years

Selection Process

The selection process is conducted through the following stages:
  1. Shortlisting through PET Score: Applicants are shortlisted for the Mains Examination based on their normalized marks in the UPSSSC PET examination.
  2. Mains Written Examination (Objective Type): Covering General Intelligence Test, General Knowledge, General Science & Arithmetic, and General Hindi.
  3. Document Verification (DV): Verification of original educational mark sheets, PET scorecard, caste/domicile certificates, and identity proof.
  4. Final Departmental Allotment & Medical Examination.
