Educational Qualification Criteria

  • Warrant Officer (Cipher): 10+2 with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Maths) OR 10th pass + 2-year ITI / NSQF Level 4 course in Electronics / ICT / Electrical / Instrumentation OR B.Sc in Electronics / ICT.
  • Warrant Officer (Draughtsman): 10+2 or equivalent + 3-year Diploma in Architectural Assistantship from a recognized polytechnic.
  • Warrant Officer (OT Technician / Physiotherapist): 10+2 with Science + 2-year Diploma in OT Tech / Physiotherapy + min. 1 year work experience in a hospital of at least 50 beds.
  • Rifleman Technical Trades (Electrical, Lineman, Armourer, Mechanic, Welder, etc.): 10th (Matriculation) pass from a recognized board + relevant 2-year ITI Trade Certificate or Engineering Diploma.
  • Rifleman Store Keeper Technical (EME): 10th Class pass from a recognized board.
  • Rifleman (Mason): 10th pass + trade test qualification + self-certificate showing 1 year of trade experience.

Physical Standards & Selection Stages

  1. RFID-Based Physical Standard Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
    • PET (Male): 5 km run to be completed within 24 minutes.
    • PST (General/OBC/SC): Height: 170 cm, Chest: 80 cm (expanded 85 cm). (Relaxations apply for Hill area & ST candidates).
  2. Computer-Based Written Test (CBT): 100-mark test covering General Knowledge, Mathematics, Reasoning, and English/Hindi.
  3. Trade / Skill Test: Trade-specific practical test (Qualifying in nature).
  4. Detailed Medical Examination (DME) / Review Medical Examination (RME).
  5. Final Merit List & Training Call Letter.
