Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications

  • Project Engineer: B.E. / B.Tech / MCA / M.E. / M.Tech in relevant disciplines (CS/IT/Electronics) with 0 to 4 years of relevant post-qualification experience depending on the specific profile.
  • Senior Project Engineer: B.E. / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech / Ph.D. in relevant fields with 3 to 7 years of relevant industry/R&D experience.
  • Project Manager / Project Officer: B.E. / B.Tech / MBA / CA / LLB (based on Technical/Admin role) with 9 to 15 years of post-qualification management experience.

Age Limit (as on 26.10.2026)

  • Project Associate / Engineer: Usually up to 30 – 35 Years.
  • Senior Project Engineer: Usually up to 40 Years.
  • Project Manager / Officer: Usually up to 50 – 56 Years.
  • Age Relaxation: Applicable as per Government of India rules for SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen.

The C-DAC selection procedure will be conducted in the following stages:

  3. Personal Interview: Final evaluation assessing technical knowledge, R&D aptitude, and domain expertise.
  4. Document Verification & Medical Fitness: Final verification of all original certificates.
