Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxation applies for unreserved/OBC (up to 5 years) and SC/ST (up to 10 years) meritorious sportspersons as per DoPT guidelines.

Educational Qualification & Sports Eligibility

Candidates must possess meritorious sports achievements (represented Country, State, University, or School in recognized sports/games) along with the following academic qualifications:

Tax Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent. Must possess a data entry speed of 8,000 Key Depressions per hour.
Stenographer Grade-II: 12th Class pass or equivalent. Must meet dictation (80 wpm for 10 mins) and transcription speed requirements.
Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): 10th Class (Matriculation) pass or equivalent.

(Note: Sports achievements/participation must be supported by valid certificates like Form-1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 issued by competent authorities).

Selection Process

The selection of candidates for the Income Tax Pune Sports Quota will be based on:

Shortlisting: Based on the evaluation of valid sports achievements and certificates.

Computer Skill Test: Data Entry/Typing/Stenography test for Tax Assistant and Stenographer posts.
