Age Limit (as on 08.10.2026)

  • Upper Age Limit: 28 Years (General / UR Candidates)

Pay Scale & Remuneration

  • During Training (1 Year): Executive Trainees will be placed in the E-1 Grade pay scale of ₹40,000 – ₹1,40,000/- with an initial basic pay of ₹40,000/- per month along with Industrial DA (IDA), HRA/Company Accommodation, and cafeteria perks.
  • On Successful Completion of Training: Candidates will be absorbed as regular Executives in the designation of Assistant Manager / Officer with full allowances, medical benefits, and performance-related pay (PRP).

Selection Process

The selection of Executive Trainees in MECL will be conducted through the following stages:
  1. Shortlisting of Applications: Based on valid GATE scores or academic merit / Online Computer-Based Test (CBT) as notified for the respective discipline.
  2. Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview at MECL Corporate Office, Nagpur, to assess domain knowledge, behavioral traits, and leadership aptitude.
  3. Document Verification: Verification of original academic records, caste/category credentials, and identity proofs.
  4. Pre-Employment Medical Examination: Medical assessment conducted by the authorized MECL Medical Officer/Board.
