Selection Process & Exam Scheme
The selection will be conducted through a three-stage examination procedure:

Stage 1: Online Written Examination (Computer Based Test – CBT):

General Knowledge: 50 Questions (Objective / 50 Marks)

English Composition:

Objective: 20 Questions (20 Marks)

Subjective: Essay, Letter, Précis Writing, and Punjabi-to-English Translation (30 Marks)

Negative Marking: 1/4th (0.25) mark deducted for each wrong objective question.

Qualifying Marks: Minimum 33% in each subject and 40% aggregate in CBT.

Stage 2: Computer Proficiency Test (CPT – Qualifying Only):

Spreadsheet Test (10 Marks / Minimum 4 marks to qualify).

English Typing Test on Computer with a minimum speed of 30 words per minute (w.p.m.).

Stage 3: Document Verification (Checking of Original Testimonials): Verification of educational degrees, caste, domicile, and identity credentials.
