Educational Qualification & Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: No specific minimum educational qualification is prescribed for this post.
• Experience Required: The applicant must possess at least 1 year of experience in sanitation/cleaning work in any Urban Local Body (Nagar Nikay), Central/State Government Department, or autonomous body situated in Rajasthan.
• Experience Certificate Condition: The experience certificate must be valid and issued on or after 01 August 2026.
• Domicile: The candidate must be a permanent resident (domicile) of Rajasthan.
• Single Application Rule: A candidate can apply for only ONE Urban Local Body out of the 183 notified. Applying to more than one ULB will lead to the rejection of all applications.

Selection Process

1. Lottery System: Candidates will be selected through an online lottery process software developed by DoITC.
2. Priority Preference: First preference in the lottery will be given to applicants having 1-year experience in the SAME municipality they have applied for.
3. Document Verification: Checking of the valid experience certificate, Jan Aadhaar card, and domicile documents.
4. Medical Examination: Final medical fitness check.

Step-by-Step How to Apply Online

1. Visit the Rajasthan SSO Portal at sso.rajasthan.gov.in.
2. Log in using your existing SSO ID and Password, or register for a new SSO ID if you are a first-time user.
3. Click on the “Recruitment Portal” under Citizen Apps (G2C).
4. Complete your One-Time Registration (OTR) profile and pay the requisite fee (if not paid earlier).
5. Search for the “Safai Karmachari Recruitment 2026 (Advt No. 01/2026)” and click on “Apply Now”.
6. Select your preferred single Urban Local Body (ULB) carefully.
7. Fill in your personal details, Jan Aadhaar details, and upload your recent photograph, signature, and 1-year experience certificate.
