Educational Qualification & Eligibility Criteria

• BDS / MDS Degree: Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) degree with at least 55% marks in final year BDS from a college/university recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI).
• Compulsory Rotatory Internship: Must have completed the mandatory one-year rotatory internship on or before 31 July 2026.
• Dental Council Registration: Must possess a valid, active State Dental Council / DCI Permanent Dental Registration Certificate.
• NEET MDS Requirement: Candidates must have appeared in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET MDS) 2026 conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS).

Selection Process

1. Shortlisting of Applications: Shortlisting for the interview will be done strictly based on the merit of candidate scores in NEET MDS 2026.
2. Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will appear before a duly constituted Selection Board in New Delhi to assess their clinical competence, personality, and suitability for the Armed Forces.
3. Medical Examination: Candidates qualifying the interview will undergo a comprehensive Special Medical Examination Board (SMB) at nominated military hospitals.
4. Final Merit List: Prepared based strictly on marks scored in the interview, subject to being declared medically fit.

1. Visit the official Indian Army portal at joinindianarmy.nic.in.
2. Navigate to the “Officer Entry” section and locate the notification for “Army Dental Corps SSC 2026”.
3. Register using your email address and mobile number, or log in if you already have an account.
4. Carefully fill in personal details, educational qualifications, internship completion details, and State Dental Council registration number.
5. Enter your valid NEET MDS 2026 Roll Number and Score/Rank.
6. Upload scanned copies of your passport-size photo, signature, BDS/MDS degree, mark sheets, internship certificate, and NEET MDS scorecard.
7. Pay the application fee of ₹200 online.
8. Submit the application form before 22 October 2026 and print out a copy for your records.
